Yoshi is not an ENFP

A common problem in the typology community is intuitive bias, where intuitives view themselves as superior to sensors. This creates a problem where people can be mistyped simply because they have a much more positive perception of some types than others. While intuitive bias affects all sensors, xSxJs are particularly affected. Because of this, possibly the most commonly mistyped character I know of is Yoshi from the Yoshi's Island series, who is not an ENFP but an ESFJ.

Yoshi shows a clear preference of Fe over Fi. Above all, he is friendly and compassionate. Additionally, his Te is practically nonexistent. A true Te user would've accepted an offer for a leadership position like he received in Super Mario RPG. His tertiary function is probably Ne instead, because he can be a bit scatterbrained sometimes (Fe-Ne loop, anyone?), but his Ne isn't nearly strong enough to be his dominant function, and most of the time, he shows enough Si to not be in a loop.

Yoshi's full typology is ESFJ so7w6
